JUNEAU - Strange Attractor Theatre is pleased to announce they will be touring four communities in Southeast Alaska this June and July with their latest show, Enlightenment on E Floor North, a new, original theatrical performance investigating the fraught discussion of employment in America. By illuminating the responsibilities of the most invisible worker - the museum security guard - the show explores the convoluted topography of work and the workplace: labor, dreams, politics, heroism, love, lust, lunch, boredom and excruciating silence. In turning our curiosity toward the endless cycle of mindless work, we utilize our character-driven, highly physical, and outlandishly absurd style to reveal what actually happens when people pass the time while on the clock. Our physically-based performance style, the diverse universes we explore, and the delightful characters we discover unnerve while entertaining and confound while delighting.
